Volunteer Opportunities at St Luke's Advice Service

We are always keen to hear from anyone who may be interested in the key roles below, however if you have another skill you feel could benefit our charity then do get in touch.

A few words from our volunteers

My time at St Lukes has been incredibly rewarding. Our unique offering where we can support clients in person, step by step through their difficulties and provide them with real options for a resolution is extremely rare in the debt advice space, and I am very grateful to be able to help people in this way.

Being part of St Luke's team is a terrific experience. We meet people facing overwhelming debt, financial stress, and uncertainty at some of the worst time in their lives. So helping them to find practical solutions and regain control of their lives has a big impact. Seeing clients move from anxiety and hopelessness to confidence, stability, and renewed optimism is the most fulfilling aspect.

Every client is different and has a unique story they tell me when we first meet. Sometimes they are traumatic and often people come to us when they have found nobody will listen. There is always something we can do - it might be to listen to their problems but it could be to solve what is worrying them altogether. You never quite know until you get to meet them and talk.
