Service Delivery Team
Grace Smyth (she/her)
Service Delivery Manager
Grace leads the team of staff and volunteers to ensure we deliver the very best service to our clients that we can. Outside of managing the day to day operation of the advice service, Grace works closely with our partners within Moneyworks and Advice Matters, a partnership of advice agencies led by the team at Citizens Advice Brighton & Hove (CAB). Grace also leads on our fundraising.
Jess Keilthy (she/her)
Money Adviser (MIMA Cert) and Team Supervisor
Jess works across the money advise and benefits team. She supports our clients to manage their debts as well as looking for ways to maximise their income and minimise their expenditure. She also supports our clients with the more complex welfare benefit queries. As our approved Debt Relief Order intermediary, she is able to submit these applications for our clients.
Heather Morton (she/her)
Advice Support Worker
Heather supports clients throughout the Personal Independence Payment and Capability for Work claim process including initial claims stage, mandatory reconsideration and written submission for appeals.
Marco Abousleiman (he/him)
Marco supports clients throughout the Personal Independence Payment and Capability for Work claim process including initial claims stage and mandatory reconsideration. He also completes benefit checks for our clients.
Board of Trustees
Revd. Martin Poole (he/him) Chair of Trustees
“St Luke’s Advice Service exists to provide excellent advice and care for those in need in the city of Brighton & Hove. We are passionate about helping those experiencing the challenges of Universal Credit, reductions in benefits, DWP sanctions and general poverty in a compassionate and professional environment and are committed to providing that for anyone who asks for our help.”
So much of our work is delivered by our amazing team of volunteers. Many of our team are long-standing volunteers, bringing years of experience from the advice, welfare and finance sectors. Other volunteers join us for a few months whilst studying to gain valuable experience.
